We skipped the margaritas at lunch and when my friend went upstairs trying to buy a t-shirt that was out of stock we heard people at the bar also order Patron. I really liked the place and the staff was outstanding but the person responsible for ordering supplies needs to wake up. Considering the inventory stocking issues they may have run out of the batter they used on the fish and chips the first night and had to go to Plan B. They also ran out of taco shells, jalapenos for the chili, Patron for margaritas and some of the t-shirts they're trying to sell. We went back on that Sunday for lunch before flying home and although the service was great again, the fish and chips was done in a different batter and didn't taste as good. One of my friends had the fish and chips and said it was very tasty. The food was very good the first night we went to dinner and the service was great. There's also an indoor/outdoor sports bar upstairs with great views. I'm running out of happy adjectives, so I'll sign off by saying Thanks to All.The restaurant has an outdoor cabana right on the water with a large seating area. Overall, I'd say that it was a PERFECT day to visit Captn Jacks!! She was friendly, enthusiastic, extremely competent - with great knowledge of their menu + helpful suggestions - and most of all, made my friend and I feel like the most important people in the world! Her bright smile and beautiful personality completely stole the show!Īll of the other waitstaff and barstaff that we could see were hustling and friendly as well, and I noticed that every dish that was walked past our table was beautifully plated and mouth watering!! The thing that made our experience so special, however, was our delightful server, Taylor.that needs to be in all caps!.TAYLOR!!! As I previously stated, I've always received top-notch service here (they must have a strong training program), but Ms Taylor has kicked that up to a new level! The food was hot and tasty and delicious, per usual. However, I'm kinda glad that I waited, because yesterday my (our) visit was over-the-top OUTSTANDING!!! We were seated at a table by the little marina, which is just a gorgeous view. that they stayed open later, but maybe that's a local neighborhood ordinance or something.Īnyway, this review is long overdue. My only complaint about this place is even kind of a compliment - I wish. Have been coming here for several years with a variety of different friends, and have always loved this place for the wonderful atmosphere and ambiance, great food, and outstanding service.
